I think my plants think we moved to Oregon because of all the rain. It has definitely not been the desert mountain climate that they are use to. I had a moment between rain storms the other day to capture some cute kids in the early blooms of my garden. It literally was right after a rain shower and I could see the rain drop left overs on some of the trees and flowers.
Children are so much happier outside and it shows in pictures. I love the serious and thoughtful images from the studio, but it is so fun to have the full face smiles from the outdoors. I truly can not count how many times I have photographed this cute family. With the exceptions of the newborn sessions, I think this is their best session. Miss R just turned 3 and was in need of a updated portrait and her brother hit the wonderful 18 month milestone. It had been a while since I broke out the good old studio lighting but because of the storms I needed it. It actually was quite fun, I think I'll do that a little more often. Thanks so much P family. I really have to say you have reached a major milestone with your beautiful children. Thanks for letting me be a part of your heirlooms.
