This cute family NEEDS a mini album of this session because there are too many to pick just one. I am short on time and I am not getting the chance to blog all my favorites but I wanted this session up before heading out of town. I know this mom would thank you from the bottom of her heart for leaving a comment and helping her earn her mini album, all she needs are 12 comments.
Once again, the "Sprinter" weather wanted to foil our session but we surly got the best of mother nature. I think our good luck charm must have been the adorable grandpa who came to the session and stood behind me helping these kids smile. I don't usually get that qualified of an assistant and I must admit it was a great touch. I love the timelessness of these outfits. I know mom had to work hard getting these dresses but look how great they look with baby brother! I always love little girls in blue!
All the spring flowers are long gone since this portrait. Actually, I think they were probably torn out within 24 hours of the creation of this image. Of course next year will be beautiful too but it will never be exactly the same. Just like the garden that will never be the same, this family will only be this age and size for a blink of an eye. I think that must be one reason I love photographing families. Each family portrait is different and its own special type of beautiful, but it can never go backwards..... only forward.
Thanks so much J family for spending so much time and energy preparing for this great family session, it really shows. I wished I could have sat and chatting with you guys all evening long. To Mom, I still want to pick your brain over dance studios for my Sasha, I always enjoy hearing opinions from those who know better than myself. I definitely had the impression that if we were to have met years ago we probably would have been friends. To dad, I have had a lot of memories come flooding back since seeing you. Makes me chuckle how much I seemed to have forgotten about those years before becoming a grown-up.
Thanks a million J family, I know you will love the rest!
