I know I am several days late paying tribute to the wonderful Thanksgiving holiday but I figure gratitude should be shared daily, not just once a year. I remember last New Years thinking how excited I was for the upcoming 2010 year. For some reason the number 2010 feels like a beginning or starting number. I still have a few weeks to go of this year but can humble say, 2010 exceeded all my expectations. 2010 will forever represent the beginning on the middle stage of my life. For the last decade I mentally still considdered myself in my nid twenties, this year I finally embrassed and celebrated the fact I am in my mid-thirties. This blog could run the risk of being really long so I am just going to short list my blessings of 2010. coolest family ever, amazing parents, wonderful schools for my kids, health and vegetables, renewing power of good friends, art and the limitless joy it brings, strengthening connection of my Divine, stunning mountains that surround me daily, amazing example of my husband, and many people who make this journey fun.
I know I am not the only one who will celebreate 2010 as a new beginning. This family has an amazing journey ahead. I totally understand being excited for the next phase of life to start. The reality is we are always starting a new phase in some aspect of our lives. I know this family has a lot to be thankful for too.
Thanks a million C family for letting me be a part of an exciting adventure. Thank you for letting me create a photograph that has been rolling around in my head for years. I know the weather didn't cooperate but it is obivious that whatever the weather dished out to us we could handle. After that rain storm the most beautiful rainbow emerged.
I hope this family can have some other friends share a piece of gratitude with them and leave a comment so they can earn a mini album to remind them always of lifes rainbows. Great thing about gratitude is it is exponential... the more you share, the more you have. 12 comments is all they need.
