This mother does such an amazing job loving her kids that these two older siblings are not entirely sure they are ready to share her with another little baby. I am sure they have realized by now that she has an unconditional ability to love her family no matter what the size. She was so happy to make it home from the hospital on a friday so they wouldn't interupt their friday night pizza tradition. LOVE THAT! Sometimes we get hung up that traditions need to be a big and a major event. More often the traditions that make it into routine have a more powerful impact on a family. I know I have one good friend who's family ALWAYS did dinner and a movie on friday night. As a teenage, she told me, she often chose to go with her family over her friends. I was teasing my mom that I don't remember her reading to me before bed like I do for my kids. She remembers reading with me a ton just not in a nightly rountine. I do remember my dad playing his guitar while my brother and I laid in bed at night. My son just learned to play "Puff the magic dragon" on the piano and it has brought those nighly guitar memories back since that song was a regular lullaby. This cute mom also said that every sunday night is video night at their house. My sunday night tradition when I was little was going to my grandma's house and watching "Knightrider" or "America's Funniest home video" while making myself sick on gummy worms. Being a parent is hard work but these routine traditions help sweeten the memories.
So excited for this family to count 5 with 50 perfect little toes!
Leave these guys a comment so they can keep collecting their mini accordion albums, they need 12. I know they need a new album now that they have this little guy.
