I photograph alot of guys around the age of 19 because in Utah since it is a major milestone. I don't blog many of them eventhough I think they are some of the most fun session. Years and years ago I had THE BEST mentor who taught me all the important aspects of posing men. Being a women, photographing men was a learned trait. Posing a women is not at all like posing a man and it is important not to mix the two up. This fine gentleman made my job super easy and fun.
I also had to post this session because it shows off two of my summer projects. I painted two new backgrounds this summer and I couldn't be more please with the results. I had been itching for something with a little green and grey for a while. It looks fantastic with everybody I have used it with. The grey and blue one came about because I had a little blue eyed blond haired kid coming and had this vision of a background running through my head. I love the ability to create new color schemes when ever I feel like it. When I first wanted to paint my own backgrounds 12 years ago, everybody told me that you can't do it. Not only have a painted almost all my backgrounds but I have entered images photographed against my very first attempted background and they have acheived the very highest level of honor. I love it when people tell me I can't do something because it inspires me to show them how I will not be limited because someone says it can't be done.
Thank you B for having the perfect tie and the perfect eyes to match my backgrounds. You truly are a pleasure to spend time with. Best of luck on the adventures ahead in the next two years!
