T-minus 2 weeks to my favorite time of the week... counting down the days to the slow season of January and February! I have survived another holiday season and somewhat enjoyed every minute. I figure since the blog has been neglected most of the year I would through some holiday card highlights up in anticipation of posting my own in a couple days.
It truly is an honor to be a part of so many peoples holiday card traditions! I don't take lightly the responsibility of designing holiday cheer for so many people to send to their loved ones. I am glad that physical cards are so in fashion becasue I truly believe the world becomes a little brighter when we share our love with each other. The best part about designing original cards for each client is that I get to design something that truly shows off the unique personality of the people and showcases their photos in the best way. You just don't get the same originality feel from using card companies that force you into their designs. In my opinion, card designs should be ALL ABOUT THE PHOTOS, not about the deigns work. There are plenty of cute card companies out there but none are designed to showcase great photography. If you go to all the work to have great photographs on your cards then that should be the focus.
Here are some highlights that focus on beautiful family portraiture.
As I sit and watch the snow flakes FINAL fall......I am wishing you all a peacefull holiday!
